Ali Doroudchi MD
MD, Modena Allergy + Asthma of La Jolla
Ali Doroudchi, MD, grew up in Montreal, Canada. Born to two scientists, including an immunologist in his mother, Dr. Doroudchi developed a love for science and medicine from an early age. Coupled with a love for helping those in need, pursuing a career in medicine became a natural calling for him.
Dr. Doroudchi attended UCLA as an undergraduate, majoring in psychobiology and graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. He subsequently attended UCSD for medical school, where he was nominated into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Following medical school, Dr. Doroudchi returned to UCLA for his residency training in Pediatrics, where he was distinguished with the Alice Moss award, a recognition for professionalism and clinical performance. He subsequently completed his fellowship at UCLA, receiving specialty training in pediatric and adult allergy, asthma, and immunology.
Dr. Doroudchi is joining Modena Allergy & Asthma in the Summer of 2024. He has a passion for taking care of children and adults with atopic conditions, spanning food allergy, eczema, allergic rhinitis and asthma, in addition to immunologic disorders.
He spends his free time running, doing yoga, exploring new coffee shops & restaurants with his wife, and spending time with his family and in-laws who reside in San Diego. He is presently taking new pediatric and adult patients.
